Brookacre Nursery

Projects
This building was erected in the '60s as a freestanding nursery building in the grounds of a Primary School in Warrington. My client had taken over the building to run as an independent day nursery, in reponse to falling pupil numbers at the school, but with the prospect of additional nursery age children as a site immediately adjacent was re-developed for housing.

The building was extended to improve the kitchen and toilets; to add a staff room / office; to provide a covered all-weather play area. The interior was fully re-fitted, the roof repaired, and the job completed on a very short timescale  (set by the need to open at the start of the next school term) and on budget.
