This development of 24 two-bedroomed flats is located on a former industrial site in Walkden.

The site was occupied by a very large industrial building and external yards and was an eyesore in a mainly residential area. Re-development entailed the removal of the industrial dereliction, and was complicated by a maze of underground ducts and electrical cables which had to be traced, made safe and removed. The site could hardly have been considered a natural habitat; there were a few poplar trees on site but these were in poor health and were removed. New tree and shrub planting - together with the development itself - will completely change the character of the site and its immediate surroundings.

Professional services included feasibility study, initial designs, construction drawings, statutory approvals; and subsequently inspection of works in progress.
