Feasibility Study

Services

A Feasibility Study normally consists of an appraisal of a site, or off existing premises, together with outline design work to establish whether and how a project can proceed.

The outputs from a Feasibility Study normally include;

  • a brief written report
  • a measured survey and drawings showing the existing site and/or premises
  • one or more outline designs (as agreed at the outset); these are not complete in detail but are sufficient to establish the general plan and appearance of one or more options for further development
  • an approximation of the cost of the works
  • information on further information required and on any issues not fully addressed by the study

A Feasibility Study can also include by agreement

  • co-ordinating the specialist input of other consultants
  • 3D visualisations (see the projects pages) and
  • liasion with a Quantity Surveyor in the production of a detailed cost estimate

If your requirements are aready clear - especially when making minor alterations to existing premises, or when proposing a clearly defined new building on a site where there are unlikely to be planning difficulties, a Feasibility Study may not be required. This can be discussed at an initial visit.
