Ian Brewerton Architecture

This building was erected in the '60s as a freestanding nursery building in the grounds of a Primary School in Warrington. My client had taken over the building to run as an independent day nursery, in reponse to falling pupil numbers at the school, but with the prospect of additional nursery age children as a site immediately adjacent was re-developed for housing.

The building was extended to improve the kitchen and toilets; a covered all-weather play area added and the interior completely re-fitted on a short timetable.
